These are our launch animation and video assets for the launch of the Bose L1 Pro systems. This covers everything from short 60 second social videos to longer detailed videos about the design and development of the system and their features.
I was fortunate enough to work with a fantastic team through the summer to put these launch assets together. I was responsible for all of the animations, rigging, lighting, materials, and the overall visual design of the 3D portions of the videos.
All of the rendering was accomplished through Unreal Engine and real time ray tracing. This was my first deep dive into a full production with ray tracing and it was a fantastic experience. I used a combination of Maya and Unreal to do all of the 3D animations and rigging. After Effects handled any final cutting, tweaking and 2D text animations. The materials were created using Quixel Bridge, Mixer and the Unreal material graph. Finally, I leveraged Unreal Engine Blueprints to handle the interaction of the IO. Below there is a breakdown of the blueprint that I used to control the Volume, Bass, Treble settings of each product.
This has been one of my favorite professional projects to date. Thanks to the team for an awesome project.
